Where did the time go?

Looking decidedly wintry here today with frost lying on the fields, but the sea has been calm for days and the water clarity looks great. Too bad no one wants to go diving!! Oh well, even though Neal has left for sunnier climes I will be keeping the boat in the water for as long as pos, so if you fancy a dive just let me know...

Neal & Della's starring roles...

Did anyone see the TG4 programme An Tuath Nua featuring Neal and Della? There I was thinking that Neal would enjoy being in the spotlight for once... but he just sat there blushing and not looking at the tv! Ah well, it was a good show, especially when the presenter popped up and said 'everyone should try this at least once!'

Wind, wind and more wind

Sitting here in a force 9 gale watching mini tornadoes sweeping across the bay, it's hard to imagine that we are going to get any more diving done this year. This time last year was a different story all together - we had lots of lovely flat days, even though it was a bit chilly, it was still great diving. Over in the UK last weekend, it was a different story- the weather was positively summer-like - although I spent most of it indoors at the Dive Show in Birmingham. Saw Miranda K give a talk on the BBC series 'Coast' if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it - amazing dives with cuttlefish and seals. We enjoyed our 5 minutes of fame the other night on TG4's programme 'An Tuath Nua' - Neal finally got in the limelight, as did Della. They were hoping to come and film the seal pups this week - let's hope the weather sorts itself out a bit soon!
